Your Sirius radio antenna is weatherproof, so it is best placed outside on the roof. If that is not possible, mounting outside a window is preferred but often reception is possible if antennas are merely placed near a window. It should be noted that window metal screens would disrupt the signal. If there is not enough wire for optimal placement then consider purchasing extension cable, available in 50 foot lengths, to allow for the best satellite radio signal possible.
