Product Overview: The Sirius Home Signal Distribution Kit 14245 allows you to split a Sirius satellite radio signal from one outdoor antenna and send it to two different SIRIUS receivers. The included home outdoor antenna is specifically designed to receive signal from the Sirius satellites and ground repeaters when mounted outdoors. The adjustable design lets you position the antenna for optimal signal reception and can be mounted on a pole or mast, roof or wall. This kit enables users a dual receiver home distribution set up. This connects up to 2 SIRIUS receivers using only one antenna, with each receiver able to be placed up to 150 feet away. It is compatible with RG-6 cables that are not included but easy to find. Included is mounting hardware, system splitter and F to SMB adapter cables. Another option with this package is for a DBS Combiner/Splitter system. This distributes the Sirius signal over existing DBS cable. This eliminates the need for a separate cable installation and is great for homes with existing TV systems. It also allows up to a 200 foot run of regular RG-6 cable between the combiner and splitter. The final available option is for a CATV based home distribution. This sends a Sirius signal over existing CATV cable and can be combined with splitter for multi-room distribution. With this kit you can install a receiver wherever there is a CATV outlet.
