WHAT ARE THE NEW PROGRAMMING PACKAGES? WHAT IS THE COST?

The two charts listed at this link outline the packages and pricing.

IF AN EXISTING CUSOMER DOESN'T DO ANYTHING, WHAT PACKAGE WILL THEY BE SIGNED UP?

They will continue with their current programming package.

WHAT IS THE A LA CARTE?

At this time, only SIRIUS will be offering A La Carte subscription plans that allow subscriptions to tailor their listening experience by selecting the channels that they want to receive. Currently, only the new SIRIUS Starmate 5 aftermarket radio will allow A La Carte package selection.

Is SIRIUS XM RADIO INC. RAISING THEIR SUBSCRIPTION FEES?

No, they are not raising their prices. Subscriptions who maintain their current subscriptions, or choose SIRIUS Everything or XM Everything will pay $12.95 a month. There will be new subscription packages prices below and above the $12.95 per month subscription fee.

WHEN WILL PROGRAMMING PACKAGES AND A LA CARTE BE AVAILABLE?

The launch date for the new subscription packages is October 2, 2008.

IF YOU HAVE A SIRIUS MAIN SUBSCRIPTION, CAN YOU ADD AN XM FAMILY PLAN?

Not at this time. You can add multiple SIRIUS subscriptions to a SIRIUS account for a discounted family rate for each additional subscription.

IF A CUSTOMER HAS AN XM MAIN SUBSRIPTION, CAN THEY ADD A SIRIUS FAMILY PLAN?

Not at this time. They can add multiple XM subscriptions to their XM account for a discounted family rate for each additional subscription.

CAN A CUSTOMER USE AN XM PREPAID SUBSCRIPTION CARD TO PAY FOR A SIRIUS SUBSCRIPTION?

No. They should purchase an XM Prepaid Subscription Card to pay for an XM subscription.

CAN A CUSTOMER USE A SIRIUS PREPAID SUBSCRIPTION CARD TO PAY FOR AN XM SUBSCRIPTION?

No. They should purchase an SIRIUS Prepaid Subscription Card to pay for an SIRIUS subscription.

CAN A CUSTOMER SWITCH THEIR SUBSCRIPTION PLAN IN THE FUTURE?

Yes, as long as they stay within their current satellite radio service (Sirius or XM).

WHAT IS THE SUBSCRIPTION PRICE FOR A SECOND SUBSCRIPTION?

Prices start at $6.99 depending upon which primary plan your customer may have and which secondary subscription plan they choose.

WILL A MY EXISTINIG RADIO CONTINUE TO WORK?

Your current radio will continue to operate. If you are experiencing any issues, contact SIRIUS or XM Customer Care.

IF A CUSTOMER IS A SIRIUS SUBSCRIBER, CAN THEY SWITCH TO XM USING THEIR CURRENT RADIO?

No. You will need to purchase an XM-compatible radio.

IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING SIRIUS SUBSCRIBER, CAN YOU SWITCH TO SIRIUS USING YOUR CURRENT RADIO?

No. You will need to purchase an XM-compatible radio.

IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING XM SUBSCRIBER, CAN THEY SWITCH TO SIRIUS USING THEIR CURRENT RADIO?

No. You will need to purchase an SIRIUS-compatible radio.

WILL SIRIUS AND XM CONTINUE THEIR FAMILY PLAN SAVINGS PACKAGES FOR SECOND AND THRIRD RADIOS?

Yes.

DOES THE RADIO PRICE AFFECT PROGRAMMING, FEATURES OR PERFORMANCE?

More expensive radios have additional features and enhanced displays. They may also allow for portability and the ability to store programming for later playback. At this time, only the SIRIUS Starmate 5 will allow customers to receive A La Carte programming packages.

IS THERE ANY PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SIRIUS AND XM RADIOS?

SIRIUS and XM radios are optimized for reception on their respective networks. Features are similar at their various price points.
